The UNR Student Subunit of The American Fisheries Society is a student run organization dedicated to the conservation and study of aquatic environments and their inhabitants. As a group we will develop leadership in fisheries students and provide unique networking opportunities with faculty mentors and fisheries professionals.

New Fish Class at UNR!!
UNR and our AFS group are currently a part of a groundbreaking effort to assess and conserve Nevada's fishes. This class will likely be offered again in thee future, so check back with us for details on the Fall semester.
